48. 여호와시여! 신앙생활 잘하게 하소서!     

르호보암은

나라가 견고하게 되고

여호와의 율법을 버리니

애굽왕 시삭이

예루살렘을 치러 올라옵니다.

시삭이 유다의 견고한

성읍들을 빼앗고 예루살렘에 이르니

선지자 스마야가 백성들에게 이르되

여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기로

너희가 나를 버렸으므로

나도 너희를 버려

시삭의 손에 넘겼다 하셨다 하였습니다.

이에 이스라엘 방백들과 왕이

스스로 겸비하고 회개합니다.

여호와께서 노를 돌이키시고

그들을 조금 구원 하십니다.

완전히 멸망치는 않으십니다.

성도의

삶이 항상 꾸준한 신앙 되게 하소서

겨울의

추위가 주님의 손길 된 듯합니다.

여호와 하나님!

신앙생활 잘하게 하소서

Lord, help us live a good life of faith!

When Rehoboam

became strong and

abandoned the law of the Lord,

Shishak king of Egypt

came up against Jerusalem.

Shishak took the fortified cities of Judah

and came to Jerusalem.

The prophet Shemaiah said to the people,

"Thus says the Lord,

Because you have forsaken me,

I have also forsaken you and

given you into the hand of Shishak."

Then the princes and the king of Israel

humbled themselves and repented.

The Lord turned his anger

and saved them a little.

He did not completely destroy them.

May the lives of the saints

always be steadfast in faith.

The cold of winter

seems to be the hand of the Lord.

Lord God,

help us live a good life of faith.
